Woodcraft is looking to develop a key member of our staff who will not only interface with customers but also contribute to the continued growth of Woodcraft by assisting with internal organization, marketing strategy and customer service. Woodcraft is steadily growing every year, but our sales strategy is not based upon volume, but instead focused upon customer service. Once fully trained, employees are empowered with the latitude and decision making ability that leads to true satisfaction not only for the customer but for themselves as well.
Knowledge of the road racing industry is a plus, but we can train the right individual. This is a full time position with some flexibility with respect to schedule if needed. Initial compensation will be based upon experience and will increase relative to job performance. Street & Competition, located in Troy, NY is a leading wholesale/retail supplier in the high performance motorcycle industry. We support amateur and professional motorcycle road racers throughout the United States with the parts and safety equipment necessary for success.
We sell our products through our store and call center in Troy, NY as well as our Internet website www.streetandcomp.com We also provide on-site support at the New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, NH and at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL.
We are in need of additional personnel as business expands. The following positions are available.
Call Center Associate – Responsible for answering incoming order lines, interfacing with customers, and entering orders into a computer-based order processing system. The Call Center Associate will also follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction. This position requires the ability to interface with customers in a courteous, friendly, helpful, and positive manner. It is a fast-paced environment requiring personnel who can interface well under stress. Basic computer skills are required. Knowledge of the motorcycle industry is helpful but not required. These are full time positions, however we will consider part-time applicants.
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor – Responsible for overseeing the packing and shipping of customer orders, the receipt and posting of supplier shipments, and supervising personnel within the department. This position requires the ability to interface well with subordinates. Basic computer skills are required. Knowledge of the motorcycle industry is helpful but not required. This is a full time position.
Catalog and Internet Support Associate – Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data in files used to support our catalog and Internet website. This position requires extreme accuracy as well as familiarity with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with the Internet. This is a full time position, however we will consider part-time applicants.
On-Site Racing Support – We provide on-site support at the New Hampshire International Speedway on eight weekends (Friday to Monday) from April through October and at the Daytona International Speedway on two weekends (Friday to Monday) in March and October. The work performed by On-Site Racing Support includes site set-up and breakdown, face-to-face sales, and operating tire-changing equipment. This is a fast-paced environment requiring personnel who can interface well under stress. Applicants need not be qualified in all aspects of On-Site Racing Support. These are part time positions.
