Installation Notes for RMonitor at NHIS

You must have TCP/IP protocol installed.

Double-click on the rmonitor.exe file to run it.
Accept the default installation path. 
(It does not like to be installed anywhere else -
don't ask me for help if you install it elsewhere)

The Rmonitor program will run automatically when you get thru the 
installation process, but it will show only a blank screen.

Click on Settings-Communication-TCP/IP
Set IP Address to  10.70.8.90
Set Port Number to 50000
Click OK

Close Rmonitor

Re-open Rmonitor by clicking on the desktop icon created by the install.

The program will probably hangup (stop responding) at this point,
because it is looking for the scoring computer on the network.


run Rmonitor.
While bikes are on the track, either racing or practice, you should get a clock
in the lower right side of the window, showing that you are 'connected'
Set up the display to your liking.

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL RACE DAY TO GET THIS WORKING
